Mike Leech is the Technology Services Practice Leader at Environmental Science Associates (ESA) and serves as Coordinator for the Puget Sound Ecosystem Monitoring Program (PSEMP) Spatial Data Work Group (SDWG). He brings over 20 years of experience leading geospatial, data management, and custom application development efforts focused on natural resources, water systems, and environmental decision-making. Mike specializes in building and guiding multidisciplinary teams that deliver integrated GIS solutions spanning mobile data collection, spatial databases, advanced analytics, and web-based data visualization, supporting clients from local agencies to large-scale infrastructure programs. In his role with the SDWG, he facilitates collaboration among regional partners to advance shared understanding of spatial data resources, promote data standards, and address critical information gaps impacting ecosystem recovery in Puget Sound, while coordinating workshops, guiding focus teams, and connecting technical practitioners with decision-makers.
