About me
The Young Professionals Special Interest Group (YPSIG) is a community within Washington GIS Association (WAGISA) dedicated to supporting students, early-career professionals, and anyone with fewer than five years of experience in the geospatial field. YPSIG creates opportunities for networking, mentorship, and professional development through social events, workshops, and volunteer leadership. The group focuses on building connections across experience levels, helping members navigate early career challenges, and fostering an inclusive, welcoming environment within Washington’s GIS community.
