About me
Emma Tomaszewski is a GIS Specialist at the Skagit Conservation District, where she supports conservation outreach and education through mapping and geospatial analysis. She holds a Master's degree in Ecology and brings over a decade of experience applying spatial analysis and data management to natural resource and wildlife ecology contexts. Emma recently transitioned into local state government GIS, and her current work focuses on making data accessible and actionable for conservation audiences - including the development of interactive web maps for public outreach. Her presentation explores cover crop adoption trends in Skagit County over time, combining spatial analysis with web GIS to communicate agricultural conservation practices to the broader community.
